Hours: 40 hours per week; hours may include occasional evenings and weekends

Location: Remote

Position Summary: Marketing Communications Coordinator creates, implements, and releases communication around the work of Safe House Project, as well as works with partners on joint initiatives.


Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

  • Create, implement, and release communication that effectively describes and promotes the organization and its programs including graphics, brochures, company or product fact sheets, newsletter, and other marketing collateral .

  • Develop and implement effective communication strategies that build donor and partner programs and brand awareness.

  • Plan and manage the design, content, and production of marketing materials.

  • Create communication and marketing strategies for new solutions, launches, events, and campaigns.

  • Respond to communication-related issues in a timely manner.

  • Responsible for account set-up and rollout plan for Healthcare partners

  • Manage “Leader in Freedom” partner experience and strengthen the relationship between Safe House Project and its partners.

  • Engage in day-to-day communications with partners

  • Communicate and prepare proposals for potential partners


Requirements (included but are not limited to):

Professional Qualifications:

  • Advanced administrative, organizational, and computer skills, including Canva, Wix, Mailchimp, Microsoft Office, Google Adwords, and Google Suite.

  • Documentation of references (at least two professional and one personal) that attest to the person’s capability of performing the duties of the position and to the person’s suitability of working with or around vulnerable populations

  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role.

  • Proven experience creating targeted content is advantageous.

  • Strong knowledge of communication practices and techniques.

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

  • Must be able to multitask and work well under pressure.

  • Excellent organizational and leadership abilities.

Position Requirements:

  • Occasional travel throughout the United States

  • Ability to work for long periods at a computer

  • Satisfactory criminal history background check
