Our Programs

bringing hope, freedom, & a future to trafficking survivors in the united states through education, safe housing, and empowerment opportunities.

why safe housing matters

"It's more than a house, it is a home."

"It’s our way of finding our own purpose."

"It’s our way of being able to have time to process who we are."

It's our way of finding freedom, peace, love, and most of all dignity."

Sex trafficking is the commercial sexual exploitation of an individual through force, fraud, or coercion.

Any time a child is used for commercial sex, including prostitution or pornography, it is considered sex trafficking, regardless of whether there is evidence of force, fraud, or coercion.

TESTIMONIALS

“The day I realized that children were being sold for sex every day, right here in the United States, I had to do something. Talking with Kristi and her team I realized my company, my people, my industry had the ability to help combat child trafficking. Every day, pest management professionals service millions of homes and businesses. We are the eyes and ears of the community. At Forshaw, we could do more than donate to the cause. We could be part of the solution by educating and empowering our partners to know the signs of trafficking and speak out. Saving just one girl or boy would be a victory.”

TOM FORSHAW / FORSHAW INC / FOUNDER & CEO

"Refuge for Women and Safe House Project continue to have a wonderful partnership. In 2020 Safe House Project was able to financially help Refuge for Women open Kentucky's first Emergency House for sex trafficking survivors. They have helped with physical items like mattresses and the education materials they produced have been fabulous. We value the partnership in a great way and look forward to working together in 2021."

KED FRANK / REFUGE FOR WOMEN / FOUNDER
